சிறு சேமிப்பு திட்டங்களில் வட்டி விகிதம் குறைப்பு
அஞ்சலக பொது வருங்கால வைப்பு நிதி (பிபிஎப்) வட்டி விகிதத்தை 0.1 சதவீதம் குறைக்க மத்திய அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. இது ஏப்ரல் 1ம் தேதி முதல் அமலுக்கு வரும் என்று நிதியமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. தபால் அலுவலகங்களில் பல்வேறு சிறுசேமிப்பு திட்டங்கள் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. பணத்துக்கு பாதுகாப்பு கருதி, பெண்கள் மற்றும் முதியோர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் இவற்றில் முதலீடு செய்கின்றனர். ஏற்கனவே, சிறுசேமிப்பு குறைந்து வரும் நிலையில், அவற்றுக்கு வட்டியை உயர்த்தி கவர்ச்சிகரமான திட்டங்களை அறிவிக்க வேண்டுமென கோரப்பட்டு வந்தது.
ஆனால், அரசு கடன் பத்திரங்கள் மூலம் கிடைக்கும் வருவாயை பொறுத்து, அஞ்சலக சேமிப்பு திட்டங்களுக்கு வட்டி வழங்கலாம் என மத்திய அரசுக்கு, ஷியாமளா கோபிநாத் கமிட்டி பரிந்துரைத்திருந்தது. அந்த கமிட்டி பரிந்துரையின் அடிப்படையில் தற்போது வட்டி குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்படி, பொது வருங்கால வைப்பு நிதி வட்டி விகிதம் 8.8 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 8.7 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஓர் ஆண்டு வரையிலான அஞ்சலக சேமிப்பு திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் நிலையான வைப்பு நிதி திட்டங்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் வட்டிகள் மாற்றப்படாமல் முறையே 4 மற்றும் 8.2 சதவீதமாக இருக்கும்.
மேலும், 5 ஆண்டுகளில் முதிர்வடையும் மாதாந்திர வருவாய் திட்டங்கள் (எம்ஐஎஸ்) வட்டி 8.4 சதவீதமாக இருக்கும். அதே போல, தேசிய சேமிப்பு சான்றிதழ் (என்எஸ்சி) முலம் 5 ஆண்டு சேமிப்புக்கான வட்டி விகிதம் 8.6 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 8.5 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்படுகிறது. 10 ஆண்டு சேமிப்புக்கான வட்டி விகிதம் 8.9 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 8.8 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்படுகிறது. முதியோர் சேமிப்பு திட்டத்துக்கான வட்டி விகிதமும் 9.3 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 9.2 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்படுகிறது
