Volunteers to work in "Circle Processing Centre"- Chennai

This is regarding calling for volunteers to work in "Circle Processing Centre" proposed to be set up at Greams Road Chennai.

It is proposed to set up a "Circle Processing Centre" at Greams road PO premises. All the back office functions of "Core Banking Solution" will be undertaken in this centre which include primarily Data Entry and scanning of documents work. It is proposed to deploy the work force initially on deputation basis. The deputation would be for 2 years. At the discretion of the competent authority and based on the performance of individual, deployment on permanent measure or extension of tenure will be considered.

a) Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants / PA SBCO officials can express their willingness to work as PA-CPC

b) Supervisors in LSG, HSG-II including Grade-II and Grade-I can express their willingness to work as Supervisors.

The other general conditions are as below:

i. Deployment of both PAs & Supervisors in CPC will be purely on deputation basis.

ii. There is a proposal to deploy posts by diversion in future. During that time permanent transfer of officials will be considered.

iii. No additional to pay or allowances is permissible.

iv. Officials on deputation would  be required to work between 09-30 - 05-30, in ex-ordinary cases and circumstances they may be required to work in batches / shifts.

v. The officials will be sent for a End User Training at PTC Madurai for 3 days before being deployed in the CPC.

Those officials, who are willing can submit their representation to The Assistant Director (Technology), O/o The Chief PMG, Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai - 600002 through the Divisional superintendents concerned before 15th March 2013 positively.
